A guided fishing trip for Oregon Steelhead is an incredible experience. Yesterday, we drifted the Nestucca for 7 hours with Anderson’s Outdoors. It feels opulent because your biggest concern is packing a lunch, meeting your guide on time, and wearing enough layers of clothing. The rest is easy.
Kent brings the gear and tackle. He tells you when and where to cast. He whispers words of wisdom in a calming voice to help you reel your fish into the net. There are so many moments when you realize… This is Oregon! I am surrounded by beauty. This is why we call it #pnwonderland.
Anderson has been guiding since 1997. If you’re interested, he’ll help you understand the ecology, fisheries history, the social/political aspects of recreational and commercial river fishing in Oregon. If your mellow on the adjacent head game, no worries. He wants you to land one and he’ll keep you focused on doing that.
Super grateful I could be with my family on this day. Thank you to my stepfather for making this experience a reality. For many years he has been creating this opportunity for us.
Anderson’s Outdoors: “We have been running professionally guided river trips in Oregon since 1997 but have been “on the rivers” for nearly 30 years. All gear and tackle is provided. No experience necessary. We will be patient and friendly while assisting you catch the first fish of your life or the trophy of a lifetime.”
